The RIMS-BTSAOnline© (RBO©) System

Minimize

The web-based RIMS-BTSAOnline© (RBO©) System was designed for instant access to induction program information for registered RIMS-BTSA Consortium participants. The RBO© accommodates the Formative Assessment for California Teachers (FACT) system and provides extended, comprehensive reports for district administrators.

RIMS-BTSAOnline System (RBO)All RBO© users have access to a variety of resources such as lists of professional development activities, downloadable forms and publications, links to useful education websites, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and an extended Contact Us page that lists contact information for credential advisors, district liaisons, and appropriate RIMS-BTSA staff.  Users may also participate in online surveys throughout the year.  Over the years the RBO© has grown and changed in response to user requests for new features, such as the abilitiy for users to send email through the system.

Participating teachers (PTs) are able to collaborate online with their assigned support provider to complete their FACT modules, keep a history of professional development activities they have attended, verify time spent with their support providers, and update their personal contact information.  Real-time completion of requirements is shown on the Summary Report which documents the PT's progress through the 1-2 year induction program.

Support providers (SPs) are able to collaborate online with their assigned PTs to complete FACT modules, verify their PTs’ FACT completion, and submit their Support Service Log information to record the amount of support time spent with their PTS.  Reports allow SPs to monitor their PTs' progress through the induction program.

District credential advisors (CAs) and district liaisons (DLs) are able to monitor each PT’s progress through the induction program, create PT/SP assignments, view PT credential status information, and access a multitude of individual PT/SP and comprehensive district reports.
